Education- A Priority at Sky High
Marketing
Education is something that we take very seriously at
Sky High Marketing. For this reason we ensure that our
staff attends industry specific tradeshows and seminars
that enhance our marketing and product knowledge.
In 2008 our Las Vegas office will attend two shows in
Las Vegas and our Milwaukee office will attend shows in
Milwaukee and Chicago. Shows are spread throughout the
year, but the first show was in Las Vegas in mid-
January. This show is our industries largest and is put
on by the Promotional Products Association
International. Show seminars range from topics
including how to effectively use promotional products,
how to write a marketing plan, how to gauge promotional
ROI, and much more. We also learn
about new marketing tactics, products, and trends that
affect our industry so that we can better be of service
to you.
We hope
that our investment in time and money ultimately
continues to make your experience with us an excellent
one!

Marketing Breakfast Recap |

Speaking of education, one of our
2008 initiatives is to better educate you about
our products and services. With this, we
decided to hold quarterly marketing breakfast
seminars. The first seminar was successful
beyond our imagination. Both offices were full
to capacity with a waiting list. Our first
seminar was entitled Eco-Friendly Green
Promotional Products. All attendees had a great
chance to network and received a very nice
“green” messenger bag.
 
Our next seminar will be held in May and will
be great for those involved with
purchasing apparel. The topic “Apparel 101” is
being sponsored by Cutter and Buck and all
attendees will receive a free embroidered Cutter
and Buck polo shirt. We will also touch on some
screen-printing and embroidery basics including
stitch counts, specialty inks, setup charges,
art requirements, and much more.
