Milwaukee Art Museum "Act/React" art exhibition
Objective:
Develop “reactive” merchandise for museum to sell in their gift store that would coordinate with the interactive nature of the art exhibit. Art pieces respond to movement and sound of those viewing so merchandise must have a changing quality to it.
Outcome:
Products selected were heat reactive t-shirt (changes colors when worn or touched), t-shirt printed with light reactive ink that will change color in the sunlight, a magic mug which reveals a hidden message when filled with hot liquid and heat sensitive pencils that change colors when held. Products were very successful at generating interest in the gift shop after patrons viewed the exhibition.
